I think it's more likely that Jessie learned his knowledge from the wrestlers that worked for Search & Rescue...and Jessie told things to Buddy Lucas.

OK. This may be some WAS, but, given the new affidavits, is it possible that Buddy Lucas talked to Jessie after the murders and that is the source of some of Jessie's "knowledge" of the crime?
